We are a student-run organization dedicated to sustainable development in the state of Utah, the host of the 2034 Olympic Winter Games.

Vision

The Olympic Winter Games are coming to Utah, providing a catalyst for making bold changes with long-term impact on our state and beyond. ​

Utah 34 is seizing the opportunity to achieve progress through youth-driven projects. Taking innovative approaches towards sustainability, we aim to transform Utah into a place known for its healthy people, thriving businesses, and clean environment.

Recycling Glass Bottles

The "Waste" Opportunity

Status: Implementing

Building an extensive glass collection network to create incentives for processors to expand recycling operations and to invest in downcycling businesses.

Fitness Group

Zero PFAS Olympics

Status: Planning

Eliminating major sources of toxic PFAS chemicals at the Olympics by promoting safer, sustainable alternatives across athletic gear, food packaging, and venue materials.
